Welcome to the beginning of your healing journey, my name is Michelle,spiritual name Maa Moksha Anand, given to me from my Guruji at Paramanand Ashram in Indore, India.

It is a pleasure to be able to share my love for Yoga and Ayurveda with you at Organic Lifestyles. Organic Lifestyles is a Healing Home and I could not think of a better place to BE than here with a Home filled with Leading Professionals in Alternative Holistic Healing Arts with a common interest… YOU and your health and wellbeing.           

Yoga Therapy is a practice that encompasses the individual as a Whole as Absolute. It is a Healing   Journey.  When you begin, be open to receive new experiences, new knowledge of yourself, be open to truly explore all that you are in your totality.  It is a beautiful journey that you will be embarking on. Your wellness and to be at optimum health is an investment. You are Worth It.

In Yoga Therapy, when we look at illness or dis-ease,  we look at the whole person; the physical body, pran body (energetic body), mind body, intellectual body and bliss body. This is referred to as the 5 Layers or The Kosha's. We are more than our physical selves. Our bodies are always striving for homeostasis, when we are out of balance our bodies begin to compensate trying to reestablish equilibrium. However, when our bodies look for balance, it may create imbalances. Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda helps the body find harmony. The imbalances may be a result of many reasons, and possibly reasons that we are unable to see. We may have an energetic imbalance that is manifesting into a physical illness, or we have stored emotional experiences within our bodies that it is creating blockages of energy flow, creating stagnation's of prana (life force energy).  In Yoga Therapy, we go beyond the physical body and explore all the Layers of the individual.  In addition, we look at the individual's constitution and establish their Dosha and Prakriti, nutritional guidance is offered that is suitable for your personal constitution, and daily practices may be offered to help pacify increase elements and qualities needed to find stasis. Asana practice is provided to assist in the healing of the physical body and encourage movement of energy flow and circulations of nutrients and oxygen, meditation or guided imagery may be provided for mind, body, spirit connection,  as well as pranayama and other yogic and Ayurvedic practices. All practices will be personally designed for you and your specific needs. Modification's will be offered and practices will be altered according to your growth, ability and desire.

All are welcomed - Yoga experience is not necessary. Practices are gentle and therapeutic in nature. It is about finding "ease" in the body and harmony of mind~body~spirit.  People who have participated in yoga therapy sessions, find that their stress is reduced, they are able to sleep throughout the night and feel rested, anxiety has decreased, mind is clearer and more focused, they are physically stronger and more limber, have established a sense of balance and feel more stable on their feet.  Joint pain subsides and for some disappears, their outlook on life is more positive and there is a bounce in their step and tend to be happier and accepting of things as they come. Beginning in September 2015 I will be accepting booking's at Organic Lifestyles on Tuesday’s 12 - 4pm and Thursday’s from 11am-5pm. Most bookings are 90minutes in length. So please allot yourselve a couple hours of time on days of appointments.
